Correct Mounting of Rubber
Kickstart has a "Rubber Stop" in one, which prevents the rubber from coming off, (see photos)
The hole in the rubber on one side is larger than on the other side.
When you install rubber, the side where the hole is largest must face the rubber stop.
In other words, the side with the small hole in the rubber must kickstart first.
Heat the rubber to 60° for a minimum of 15 min
Then it must be lubricated inside with, for example, soap or other grease, and it will slide on.
